New wines for December

We are very excited by our six new wines for December, four of which are Organic and one is Vegan. Taster Box links are below:

For you: https://www.loveataste.com/products/taster-box

We now have 18 wines on the website as we add six every month.

Here's a snifter of what's new in December:

Red

  • Tizac              Malbec. Catamarca, Argentina.   Organic.
We think this Malbec is outstanding and If you know of a better Malbec than this for around a tenner, we’d love to hear about it!
  • Quinto Arrio  Tempranillo.  Rioja, Spain.        Vegan, Organic.
A complex wine which gets better the more it breathes so take the glass of wine slowly and you will be rewarded.
  • 4 20                Montepulciano. Abruzzo, Italy.    Organic
Lighter and sweeter than the Rioja and VERY easy drinking. Plus it goes with Turkey.

White

  • Crai Nou       Chardonnay. Dealu Mare, Romania.    Organic
We know Chardonnay polarises people, and Romania may not be well known as a source of quality wines in the UK, but this tastes like an expensive white Burgundy, which is partially explained by the fact that is where the producer trained.
  • Diluvio            Albarino.     Rias Biaxas, Spain.
Very crisp dry white, a perfect offset to that rich Christmas food.
  • Via Condotto  Verdicchio. Marche, Italy.
Makes a great aperitif and goes well with white meats (Turkey…), goats cheese and seafood.

Forthcoming Events

After a busy November in which we visited fairs and markets in Norfolk, Suffolk and London and invested in new, insulated (!) footwear, our two final events for 2017 are:
16th December at Framlingham market in Suffolk and
23rd December in Norfolk at Creake Abbey Farmers market.
Watch this space for developments in 2018. Until then,

Keep well, stay warm and have a very Happy Christmas!

Andrea and James
